AMCS BULLETIN

SUBMITTING MANUSCRIPTS

Bulletins of the Association for Mexican Cave Studies are monographs on some aspect of Mexican caves or caving. Typically, they will be forty or more pages in length. They may include foldout maps or, exceptionally, large folded maps in pockets, but the latter are discouraged because they are easily lost. For economic reasons, all illustrations and photographs should be black-and-white. Future Bulletins will probably be produced as bound photocopies so that they can be printed a few at a time to avoid tying up limited capital. However, Bulletins expected to be in great demand, such as area cave surveys, might be printed if donations or long-term loans can be obtained.

Bulletins will be printed in English or, if they originate in Spanish, with parallel full texts in English and Spanish. Authors are invited to do their own computized typesetting and layout if they wish, but the AMCS Editor should be consulted about format, which should be efficient of space and neat. The standard page size of Bulletins is 8.5 by 11 inches.

Prospective authors or editors of new AMCS Bulletins are invited to contact the Editor at editor@amcs-pubs.org to discuss the project.
